Zoning: 210 Sycamore SE:  There are 6 people living in a 12’ X 12’ Space which has apparently just been built without permits. This property is zoned for 3 dwelling units per Conrad (City of ABQ) but current has 6 or 7.  This has been reported to Code Enforcement.

There are 34 off-street parking spots planned and will get a credit for public transportation availability and biking accommodations (racks).  They plan to sell growlers for people to take away from the facility and will sell pints and food at the facility.  Bosque Brewing has a good reputation for not selling to under age patrons and controlling excessive drinking (3-beer limit per customer under normal circumstances). Their hearing will be Tuesday April 15, 2014.

Treasurer’s Report:  The February and March Treasurer’s report shows an unencumbered balance of $1,822.11. Attachment 4

Park Volunteer Report: Elizabeth reported that Park Volunteer Katy Braziel called the Mayor’s liaison 2x in the last month to ask for attention to  Silver medians and parkways.  With no call-backs from the Parks department to her 311 requests, she resorted to the Mayor’s office. Watering is sporadic from block to block; the 1800 and 1900 (north side) parkways have large dead spots and need re-seeding/re-sodding; the bubbler caps around the trees need to be replaced due to damage by mowers; tree identification tags damaged by mowers need replacing; and weed & feed product needs to be put down to avoid further devastation of the landscape by weeds.   On Silver 3 trees are in danger of dying.  Katy also reported to 311 that 12 trees on Yale Blvd are dying or dead. All neighbors are urged to call 311 and report on current landscape conditions on Silver, Gold, and Yale.

Reforestation Experience: Rhett Zyla is considering moving into this area and asked how we got the reforestation done. A brief history of the reforestation was lead by Elizabeth and other points of contact were provided.

Minutes Approved: The April 2014 minutes were approved with changes.
