Silver Hill Neighborhood Association

The City has completed a comprehensive study of the Silver Avenue Bike Boulevard, including our stretch from Yale to Sycamore. Our stretch is found on Pages 22-38. Of particular interest is the analysis of various options for crossing I-25.  The recommended option involves striping the sidewalks under the I-25 overpass for sharing by pedestrians and bicyclists.

Our annual meeting includes the election of some Board members and officers. It will be at 7 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2020 at the Heights Community Center on Buena Vista. ALL are welcome to participate. Bring friends, family, neighbors.

Historic overlay issues on Silver

Albuquerque cleanup last Saturday in September. {Dumpster day}

Presbyterian Expansion: Bike blvd parking garage issues- still have entrance off silver.

            – No plans to try to extract further concessions from Presbyterian

Roosevelt Park- food trucks at 50% (have reached out to Nomad’s), music at 100% booking, insurance needed. Check on needle cleanup.

Treasurer replacement for Jill Marley Berry:Tax implications discussed.
