Ian drafted a letter and Gordon sent it to Ike Benton under Gordon\u2019s signature.<\/li>\n<li>Watering on Silver and Gold \u2013 The grass\u00a0on silver needs to be treated with a weed &amp; feed fertilizer. Last year the water was not turned on until May, the grass really suffered and some had to be replaced. Katy Braziel will contact the Parks Department to get the watering started soon.<\/li>\n<li>There is a dead tree and rosemary bush on Silver that needs to be replaced.\u00a0Katy Brazielwill contact the Parks Department.<\/li>\n<li>The walk thru on Lead &amp; Coal will be\u00a0occurring soon and Craig Wallace will work withTom Ocken to ensure things are working correctly.<\/li>\n<li>Dana Craig reported that large acorns are falling from the burly bark oak trees in front of her house and a pedestrian tripped on one. She just wanted everyone to be aware of this\u00a0hazard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Zoning: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1502 Silver SE \u2013 The owners are appealing the ruling.\u00a0 Bill Cobb is handling for the SHNA.<strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>1401 Silver SE \u2013 Juanita Garcia informed Gordon Reiselt that the Zoning Department will perform a safety inspection.<strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Mid-Valley Drainage Management Plan:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There will be a public meeting for the Mid-Valley Drainage Plan on Tuesday March 20<sup>th<\/sup> from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the basement hearing room a Plaza del Sol building located at 600 2<sup>nd<\/sup> \u00a0 Street NW. The study area does not include our neighborhood so the SHNA will not be attending. Hold Ctrl and click link or paste into your browser. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cabq.cov\/planning\/nbrcoord\/documents\/FebMar2012.pdf\">http:\/\/www.cabq.cov\/planning\/nbrcoord\/documents\/FebMar2012.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Block Watch:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Block watch is a program where neighbors on a block are encouraged to share contact information and watch out for each other.\u00a0 If you are interested in being a block captain and organizing your block please call Sandy Pino with the City.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trash Cans:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Several years ago we started putting out trash cans so the people who walk thru our neighborhood would have somewhere to dump their trash instead of dropping it on the street.\u00a0 This has been very successful and we have added new cans every year. We have some trash cans again this year that need someone to adopt them (empty them when full). Craig Wallace will contact Mindy and Don Grossburg at 1801 Gold about adopting one and will install it for them if they agree.\u00a0 Katy Brazielwill ask Dana Craig about them adopting one.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Neighborhood Photographs and Logo:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gordon will talk toMaria Lozano to check the status.
