Christmas Eve, 2012 in Silver Hill was quiet, cold, and lit by thousands of luminarias.\u00a0 We hope you had a chance to walk throught the neighborhood and witness this New Mexico traditional lighting.\u00a0\u00a0Craig Wallace, Chair of the event this year\u00a0and many volunteers placed luminarias along the medians of Silver Ave., in our new landscaped medians on University Blvd., and in the Triangle Park at Lead and Yale.\u00a0 Setting up the luminarias provided a chance for neighbors\/volunteers to meet, get to know each other and create a work of art for the whole neighborhood to enjoy.\u00a0 Thanks to Craig, his block captains, and all of the spontaneous volunteers who showed up to take part!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
