{"id":2147,"date":"2018-10-06T13:35:42","date_gmt":"2018-10-06T19:35:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.silverhillabq.org\/?p=2147"},"modified":"2018-11-12T09:56:47","modified_gmt":"2018-11-12T16:56:47","slug":"shna-board-meeting-minutes-09-10-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.silverhillabq.org\/?p=2147","title":{"rendered":"SHNA Board Meeting Minutes   09\/10\/2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Time and Location of the Meeting:<\/strong> the meeting was held at the Heights Community Center and was called to order at 7:00 pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Board Members Present:<\/strong> James Montalbano, Rich Braziel, Tom Ocken, Don McIver,\u00a0 Sean Matney, Elizabeth Doak, &amp; Richard Hallett. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.silverhillabq.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/2018-09-10-SHNA-Board-Meeting-Sign-in-Sheet.pdf\"><em>Sign-in Sheet<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Others Present:<\/strong> Edgar Avila, Bob Stembridge, &amp; Adam Smith <a href=\"http:\/\/www.silverhillabq.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/2018-09-10-SHNA-Board-Meeting-Sign-in-Sheet.pdf\"><em>Sign-in Sheet<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Silver Bike Blvd: <\/strong>The big focus of the meeting was how to run the Silver bike boulevard through Huning Highlands which will require a route under I-25. They don\u2019t have the money for a bridge over the freeway or for a tunnel under the freeway. Options include routing bike traffic to either Lead or Central to cross under the freeway and then route them back onto Silver.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Titan Development Project: <\/strong>There will be a hearing on the Thursday 9\/20 at 2:00pm in the Plaza del Sol building at 600 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Street NW. The subject site is the 2.4 acres located at 200 Mulberry street NW. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.silverhillabq.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/200-Mulberry-Metro-Redevelop-Bond-.pdf\"><em>See <u>Attached<\/u><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Roosevelt Trees:<\/strong> Jim talked to the City Arborist about Roosevelt and they plan to start planting some trees this fall. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.silverhillabq.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Roosevelt-Park-Reforestation.pdf\"><em><u>See Attached<\/u><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Heights Community Center:<\/strong> Edgar Avila, Manager of Heights Community Center, has about 150 kids in the summer program. They will start on the new dance floor soon and it will take a couple months. He is still working on the historic registration for the building.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lead &amp; Coal Two-Way: <\/strong>It doesn\u2019t look like they are going to turn it into a two-way street but will work on traffic calming strategies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roosevelt Park Thursday Summer Events:<\/strong> We are done for the year with the weekly Roosevelt Part events and will start our planning for next year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Encumbered Funds: <\/strong>There is $0.33 encumbered funds that has been on the books for the almost 20 years.
