Annual Meeting Scheduled:  The SHNA Annual Meeting will be held on Monday 1/9/2012 at the Heights Community Center at 7:00 PM. Please make plans to attend.  Meeting announcement will be posted on the SHNA website, on yard signs, and placed on door hangers.

Zoning:

1502 Silver: The zoning hearing considering a variance for this property has been delayed until January 2012.  To get a variance the owners will need to show that their property is exceptional (very different from the properties around them) and that not getting a variance would cause harm to them.

Calvary Church Walled Patio: The Church had built a walled patio without the required set backs.  As part of the Lead/Coal project this encroachment was to have been corrected. This correction has not occurred and the patio wall has actually been move closer to the sidewalk.

Smith’s Food & Drug Air Quality Application: Smith on Yale & Coal has received a permit to dispense 3,405,040 gallons of gas per year and is requesting to increase it to 4,500,000 gallons/year.  This will increase their volatile Organic Compounds emissions from 22.13 tons/year to 29.25 tons/year.  Rich Braziel will attend the public meeting. Lead/Coal Project: With any project there are things that go wrong.  Here is a story of David Jones broken sewer line and how the problem was corrected.  He thought it might help others if they are having an issue. Attachment 3

Board Minutes: The Board Minutes from 10/10/11 were approved.
