Silver Hill Neighborhood Association

The memorial service for Michele Baldwin, who died of cervical cancer last weekend, will be this Sunday 12 February from 2 to 4 p.m. at the UNM Alumni Chapel. A get-together will follow at 1626 Roma NE.

Michele was a longtime Silver Hill resident and neighborhood board member, one of the people involved in the re-planting of the Silver Avenue median and many other projects. She was 45.

The Silver Hill Neighborhood Association will hold its annual meeting on Monday, January 9, 2012, at the Heights Community Center, 823 Buena Vista SE (south of Coal). All residents of Silver Hill are welcome to attend. Members of the association in good standing may vote in the annual election of board members. Half of the board seats will be open for nominations.

Luminary bag folding at 1523 Silver Ave SE!  Anybody is welcome to drop by, have some posole and snacks and fold some bags.  I’ll have food and space for folding and visiting.  Doors open at *** 5pm*** Thursday Dec 22, open till 8pm.
